Big Tech’s Gas Fire

Big Tech’s empire is not built on sunlight or wind. It is built on gas turbines. The same corporations that preach sustainability quietly sign contracts with fossil giants to power their AI clusters. Google calls its datacenters 'carbon neutral'. Amazon calls them 'green'. In truth, they run on natural gas — methane drilled, piped and burned into the sky.
Natural gas is not clean. Methane leaks are more destructive than carbon dioxide, heating the planet faster. Turbines demand rivers of cooling water, draining ecosystems dry. Communities near these plants live with asthma, cancers, and poisoned land. This is not transition. It is addiction.
Datacenters already consume more electricity than many nations. With Nvidia and OpenAI planning gigawatt-scale clusters, the demand will explode. And every 'AI miracle' the headlines sell comes with an unseen cost: more gas burned, more water gone, more futures stolen.
Truthloop says it clearly: natural gas is not a bridge to the future. It is a fuse to collapse. Big Tech is not green. It is burning the world to feed its machines.
