Pipelines and Power: Sabotage as Foreign Policy

Energy is not just fuel, it is power. When the Nord Stream pipelines were ripped apart, Europe lost more than gas: it lost independence. Washington had sworn to end Nord Stream if Moscow gained leverage. Months later, explosions left twisted steel on the Baltic seafloor. Blame was cast on Russia, a theater of lies, while evidence pointed west. Ukraine cheered, the U.S. LNG ships arrived, and European leaders nodded in silence. Cheap Russian gas was gone, replaced with expensive American cargo. Families paid higher bills, industries collapsed, while Washington laughed. This was not an accident โ it was policy. And it was not the only case. Pipelines in the Middle East, sabotage in Venezuela, pressure on Iran โ energy flows are choked whenever empire needs obedience. The hypocrisy is open: they talk about freedom while holding entire nations hostage to oil and gas routes. Truthloop says it plain: every explosion is a signature, every blackout a message. Until energy is freed from imperial hands, Europe and the Global South will remain captives to sabotage dressed as strategy.
